Privacy Policy

Who we are

Launch Copywriter ("we," "us") provides copywriting services from Szabadszállás, Hungary. For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), Launch Copywriter is the data controller for the personal data described below. You can reach us at support@launchcopywriter.com or +36 76 358 020.

What we collect

• When you contact us or request a custom scope: name, email address, and any phone number, company name or project details you choose to include in your message.
• When you place an order: name, email, phone (optional), billing address, company name, EU VAT ID (optional), and the project details you submit (start window, project name, website URL, target language, brief notes).
• Automatically, from your browser: standard technical logs collected by our hosting provider (IP address, browser type, request timestamps) for security and reliability — not linked to your identity beyond what's necessary to operate the site.
• With your consent only: usage data via Google Analytics 4, if you accept the Analytics category in the cookie banner. See "Cookies & analytics" below.

We do not collect payment card data. Card details, where entered at checkout, exist only in the checkout page's memory while you're on that step — they are never written to your browser's local or session storage, are never transmitted to us, and are cleared the moment you leave that step or place the order.

Why we collect it (lawful basis)

• To respond to an enquiry or provide a quote — legitimate interest in running the business you contacted us through, or pre-contractual steps at your request.
• To process an order, deliver a package and issue an invoice — performance of a contract and legal obligation (accounting/tax records).
• To send you optional updates about your order or our services, where you've ticked that box — consent, withdrawable at any time by emailing us.
• To run Google Analytics 4 — consent, given or withheld through the cookie banner, never assumed.

Cookies & analytics

Necessary cookies and local storage (your cart, your in-progress checkout details, your consent record) run automatically because the site can't function without them. Google Analytics 4 is not loaded, and no analytics script is requested, until you actively opt in through the cookie banner. Full inventory of what's stored, and how to change your choice at any time, is on our Cookie Policy.

Who we share it with

• Our hosting provider, to the extent necessary to serve the website and store submitted order/enquiry data.
• Google Ireland Limited, as the processor for Google Analytics 4 — only if you've consented to Analytics cookies.
• Nobody else. We do not sell personal data, and we do not pass enquiry or order data to any third-party lead, marketing or advertising service.

How long we keep it

• Enquiry messages: up to 24 months, or until you ask us to delete them, whichever is sooner.
• Order and billing records: retained for the period required by Hungarian tax and accounting law (generally 8 years for invoices).
• Analytics data: per Google Analytics 4's standard retention settings, capped at 14 months.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you can ask us to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct it; delete it (subject to our legal retention obligations, e.g. for invoices); restrict or object to certain processing; and receive a portable copy of data you provided directly. Email support@launchcopywriter.com to exercise any of these — we'll respond within one month.

How to complain

If you believe we've mishandled your personal data, we'd like the chance to put it right first — email us. You also have the right to lodge a complaint directly with Hungary's data protection authority: Nemzeti Adatvédelmi és Információszabadság Hatóság (NAIH), 1055 Budapest, Falk Miksa utca 9-11, Hungary — or with the supervisory authority in your own EU member state.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where the change is significant, note it here for 90 days.
