What this page covers
This page lists every piece of browser storage (cookies and local/session storage) that launchcopywriter.com uses, why, and how to control it. Nothing on this list runs before you've made a choice, except the strictly necessary items below, which the site cannot function without.
Necessary storage (always on — no consent toggle)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
lc.cart.v1 | localStorage | Remembers what's in your cart between visits | Until cleared or cart emptied |
lc.consent.v1 | localStorage | Stores your cookie preference so we don't ask every visit | Persistent, until you change it |
lc.checkout.progress | sessionStorage | Saves your in-progress checkout form — name, email, phone, company and billing address — so a reload doesn't lose it. Your card number, expiry date and security code are never included and never saved here. | Current browser tab only. Deleted the moment your order is placed, and discarded when the tab closes. |
lc.order.last | sessionStorage | Shows your order confirmation after checkout | Cleared when you close the browser tab |
Analytics (optional) (off until you actively accept)
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga | Cookie (Google Analytics 4) | Distinguishes users for aggregate usage statistics | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Cookie (Google Analytics 4) | Persists session state for Google Analytics 4 | Up to 2 years |
Google Analytics 4 is provided by Google Ireland Limited. No Analytics script is requested by your browser until you accept the Analytics category in the cookie banner — not even in a disabled or "pending" state. If you reject or don't respond, none of these cookies are set.
What we don't use
No third-party advertising or retargeting cookies. No social-media embed cookies. No embedded Google Maps (our contact page uses a static, cookie-free locator graphic instead). No marketing-automation tracking pixels.
Managing your choice
You can accept or reject Analytics cookies the first time you visit, via the banner — Accept and Reject are both a single click, and neither is pre-selected for you. You can change your mind at any time using the Cookie preferences link in the footer, which reopens the same panel and shows your current choice. Withdrawing consent removes the Analytics cookies this site can access and stops any further Analytics requests.
Changes to this policy
If the categories or specific cookies we use change, we'll update the tables above and the date at the top of this page.
